But,there is still a problem.Have you ever felt like there just isn't the perfect song for you anywhere in the world? If you have, than I have the solution! If someone told you that making songs is "very very difficult", know that that is not true! There are millions of amateurs that make songs, and sell them to big companies! In the following steps, you are going to get tips on how to write your first song!
Step 1: The Genre and the lyrics

Think about the genre of your song. Is it going to be a soft love song about people falling in love,or a loud heavy metal song that is (usually) about death? Think about your favorite genre, and ask yourself :"Why do I like this genre?" If you really like it,you are most likely to have the answer to the question. If not, than try to determine which type of music suits you best. Then, think of some lyrics for the song. Make sure that lyrics suit the genre. You aren't going to write about death in a slow emotional song, are you?
Step 2:The length and the melody

The usual length of songs today is about 3:30 - 4:00 minutes. This step is linked with the lyrics. You have to produce enough lyrics for your song to be the ideal length,or at least the length that you want it to be.It doesn't matter how long it takes you to write the lyrics, they are going to come to you when you get inspiration. If you are having a creativity block,do something that inspires you,but I wouldn't recommend listening to songs, because you are subconsciously going to copy the lyrics of a song and paste it into yours, and that is going to disappoint you when you realize that after you have completed the entire song.
The melody one of the most important things when making a song.If you have instruments in your home, play with them. Think of an "original" melody in your head and try to find it on a piano if you have one, because it is the easiest instrument to find sounds if you are a beginner. Or if you don't have a piano, you can find a virtual piano online and find your melodies there. If you have a budget, you can ask a local band to help you play and record the music.Maybe they will charge you, and maybe the will be generous, and do it for free.
Step 3: Recording and Editing

Recording a song is the crucial part in the song making process. It bonds everything that you have made into one piece. Make sure you are using good equipment, that is going to capture your song in High Quality (HQ). If you have "musical talent",and have no problem in getting tunes right, you can be the singer. If not,you can hire a singer,or a local band. The second option will cost money, but can help you get success. Or maybe you have a neighbor or a friend with the voice of an angel. You can ask them to sing the song for you!
After the song has been recorded, you are ready to gather the material you have made and input it into an audio editing software.

I think that one of the best software for audio editing is Adobe Audition CC .You can learn to use it through YouTube tutorials,or you can find it somewhere else on the internet. Or maybe you know someone who knows how to use the software,so they can teach you,or even edit for you! When you are done with all of the steps, listen to your masterpiece. If you really like it,you have found the right song for you,so you can even sell it to a music company!
There are a lot of ways to write and produce music. This is just a basic guide for beginners who want to make a song,or make money from selling music.I hope this article has and will help you in writing songs.
